Walden university is an accredited university with a proud history of serving the educational needs of men and women in the armed forces. By providing broad access to quality higher education through distance learning, Walden has become the choice of 1,200 veterans and active-duty service men and women. Recently, G.I. Jobs named Walden to its 2011 list of Military Friendly Schools, which honors the top 15% of colleges, universities, and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.

University programs are approved through the Minnesota State Approving Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs. Walden has a team of VA-trained certifying officials dedicated to supporting servicemembers, veterans, and their dependents.
