Allied American University Announced AAU Military Spouse Scholarships
Allied American University recently announced offering a private AAU military spouse scholarship programs for all military spouse and family members when active-member enrolls any online class at AAU.
The AAU Military Spouse Scholarship programs enables a spouse may enroll in one AAU course (3 credits), or one ABS vocational course from the qualifying courses when an active duty member enrolls in two AAU courses (6 credits),
Eligibility and Restrictions:
- The service member must enroll using Tuition Assistance (TA) for a minimum of two courses (6 semester credits).
- The spouse is eligible to receive one of the following:
- one course (3 semester credits) toward an Allied American University course. Spouse may receive up to a maximum of 4 courses (12 semester credits). Or,
- one ABS vocational course from the qualifying course list*. Spouse may receive up to a maximum of 4 vocational courses.
- The spouse may be enrolled immediately after the service member is enrolled and the TA voucher is received and processed.
- Both the service member and Spouse must complete the current course(s) before becoming eligible to enroll in subsequent course(s).
- The spouse scholarship is valid and will be processed only at the time the service member enrolls as a new student or reenrolls as a retained student – there is no option for a retroactive spouse enrollment.
